The airline's main base of flight operations is  Roland Garros Airport. It operates scheduled services from Réunion to France, South Africa, Thailand, India and a number of destinations in the Indian Ocean.  Air Austral is a part of the Vanilla Aliance.

Air Botswana Corporation is Botswana's state-owned national flag carrier, with its headquarters located in Gaborone. It operates scheduled domestic and regional flights from its main base at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport.

Air Namibia (Pty) Limited, which trades as Air Namibia, is the national airline of Namibia. It operates scheduled domestic, regional and international services, with hubs at Hosea Kutako International Airport and Eros Airport.


Air Zimbabwe Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, operating as Air Zimbabwe , is the flag carrier airline of Zimbabwe, headquartered at Harare International Airport. It operates scheduled domestic and the southern African region.

SA Airlink (Pty) Ltd, operating as Airlink is an airline based at O.R. Tambo International Airport. It is privately-owned and has developed into South Africa's first feeder network aimed at linking the smaller towns, regional centers and hubs in South Africa. Airlink has code-sharing and schedule co-ordination agreements with SAA and SA Express

CemAir Ltd is a privately-owned airline operating in South Africa which services popular tourist destinations and important business towns and leases aircraft to other airlines across Africa and the Middle East. The airline is based at O.R. Tambo International Airport with routes to Bloemfontein, Margate, Plettenberg Bay and Sishen.

Comair Limited is an airline based in South Africa that operates scheduled services on domestic routes as a British Airways franchisee. It also operates as a low-cost carrier under its own kulula.com brand. Comair Limited is a member of the Oneworld Airline Alliance.

Federal Airlines is an airline headquartered in Hangar 14 on the grounds of O.R. Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park, South Africa. The airline offers private charter and shuttle services in southern Africa,with routes between Johannesburg, Nelspruit, and Vilanculos in Mozambique, operating daily flights to game lodges and nature reserves in the region. Federal Airlines is a member of the Solenta Aviation Alliance.

Fly Blue Crane , is a South African hybrid regional airline based in Johannesburg, with its operational hub at O. R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa.

kulula.com sometimes simply known as kulula, is a South African no-frills airline, operating on major domestic routes from O.R. Tambo International Airport and Lanseria International Airport, both just outside Johannesburg.


LAM Mozambique Airlines is the flag carrier of Mozambique. The airline is based in Maputo, and has its hub at Maputo International Airport.  It operates scheduled services in southern Africa. 

Mango Airlines SOC Ltd, trading as Mango, is a state-owned South African low-cost airline based at O.R. Tambo International Airport near Johannesburg and is a subsidiary of SAAMango operates scheduled services in South Africa and Tanzania.


Moçambique Expresso SAARL is an airline based in Beira, Mozambique. It operates domestic, regional scheduled and charter services. Its main base is Maputo International AirportMoçambique Expresso is 100% owned by LAM Mozambique Airlines.

South African Express Airways SOC Ltd, known as South African Express or simply SA Express, is a state-owned airline based in South Africa with hubs at O.R. Tambo International Airport and Cape Town International AirportSA Express is a member of the Star Alliance.

Safair is an aviation company based at O.R. Tambo International AirportSafair is the parent company of FlySafair, a regional airline in South Africa. Safair is one of Africa’s foremost specialist aviation companies offering a wide range of specialist airlift services.


South African Airways (SAA) is the flag carrier and largest airline of South Africa, with headquarters in Airways Park on the grounds of O.R. Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park. SAA is a member of the Star Alliance, flying to 56 destinations worldwide, in partnership with SA Express, SA Airlink, and its lowcost carrier, Mango, within South Africa and across the African continent. 


Swaziland Airlink  is the flag carrier of Swaziland, with headquarters in Manzini on the grounds of King Mswati III International Airport. Swaziland Airlink is part of an alliance with South African AirwaysSA Express and SA Airlink. The airline offers domestic and SADC regional flights, including Mauritius.



TAAG Angola Airlines  is the state-owned national airline of Angola with headquarters at Angola Internaional Airport in Luanda. The airline operates an all-Boeing fleet on domestic services within Angola, medium-haul services in Africa and long-haul services to Brazil, Cuba, China, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates.
